Let’s take it back to when I first started learning Microblading… It didn’t matter my years of post secondary, nor did it matter what I knew from my 10+ years tattooing - I had no idea how to use a microblade or what eyebrows should even look like! I spent countless hours scouring google, YouTube, and reaching out to other artists - with little help or feedback. I took courses, workshops and kept trying new things until I found what worked - even when I felt scared, unsure, and second guessing myself along the way.
Within the first year of committing myself to the Permanent Makeup Industry, I had no idea how to get new clients or grow my client list beyond those friends, family, and maybe a few previous clients from my time as a tattoo artist prior. In order to get those minimal clients, I worked non-stop on developing my technique, researching new products, and doing ALL THE THINGS - I couldn’t figure out how anyone could run a business and balance family life when so much time went into learning something new all over again - like I went back 8 years, back to full time post secondary but with more bills to pay. I just didn’t understand why it had to be such a SECRET on how to learn and improve these skills - why it had to be so guarded by others in the industry. I wanted to quit, give up, and just accept I didn’t belong… that maybe I should stick to what I already knew.
The reality is I had NO HELP and ZERO direction. There was no willing mentor to shadow or learn from, there was no one else in my area offering these services, and I was solely relying on Google, guess work, and sheer determination with a dash of hope - it couldn’t be all for nothing. I was tired of starting over - again and again - I wanted to be successful and have something to show for it all. I had learned painfully, there needs to be MORE…
After seeking out a supportive community of artists and becoming an accredited member of the AAM, I realised the need for there to be better access to education and information in our industry. There isn’t any certified curriculum for PMU or Tattooing - BUT THERE NEEDS TO BE!
Looking back on all the time and money I spend trying to learn - I invested well over 16k in brow trainings alone, plus another 40k in additional certifications, mentorship, and business coaching.

This 5 day, in-person training, is the ULTIMATE IN-PERSON, BROW TRAINING PRORGAM FOR PMU. Ideal for those looking to get get started in the Beauty Industry as a Brow Artist, or for those PMU Artists lacking confidence or wish to refresh their current skills. Starting with the basics, mastering Microblading & the hair stroke technique, with exclusive training on Jeska’s nano blade techniques, Machine Methods also include Powder, Ombre Brows AND Hybrid Brows to ensures you are able to offer ALL styles, this means you can offer the BEST suited brows to ANY client!
This program is designed to provide fundamentals of colour theory and working within the skin, proper sanitation, contraindications, hair stroke patterning, brow mapping & design, and touches on the business aspects related to the industry including suppliers, pricing, insurance and marketing. With instructor demonstrations, and focus on BOTH the hair stroke AND Machine patterns, our students are able to create beautiful brows right upon course completion, which means they are able to charge PREMIUM pricing for their professional service!
Although Microblading is often requested, Machine methods are typically the ideal brow style for most clients, as some skin types are not candidates for Microblading. Machine methods are best suited to achieve longevity, less pain, and more controlled results. This course will teach you the best of both worlds & have you comfortable operating your machine, & delivering the best style for your client.
As a student of MysticGal Ink PMU & Tattoo School, you have access to bringing in models for future supervision and feedback, you are a student for life!
Class sizes range up to 4 students MAX. Class sizes are kept small for a more hands-on and intimate learning experience.
Students are asked to bring (3) models to use for the practical portion of the course on Day 3, 4 and 5; however, MysticGal Ink PMU & Tattoo School may assist if needed with a minimum or 4 WEEK’S NOTICE, if scheduling allows. All practical skill components are conducted under the direct supervision of the instructor.
Aesthetics, Makeup Artistry, Tattooing, or other related industry experience is a definite asset in becoming a certified Brow Artist; however, NOT REQUIRED.
Certificates are rewarded after successful completion of the theory portion, 3 (in-class) Practical Applications, and 2 submitted (and approved) Student Skill Assessments. Instructors have the right to request additional photos before issuing the certificate if students require more direction.
